Programming Changes

PCR caught some changes here in the late night hour. OC is moving back to Wednesdays. Yes, it will air on Thursday as well, but the Rich List is oh, so, dead for now. Rich List most likely will be held out for summer or on Friday nights after Vanished ends in a month. Happy Hour is well, unhappily not coming back. If you're a rich person and you want to bet on a cancellation, go with Til Death. It won't be back in January. The latest word going in as that American Idol may be going to Wednesdays and Thursdays. Well, it depends on Standoff. If Standoff drops in ratings, Idol returns in January on Tuesday and Wednesday. So the bottom line is Til Death is gone! Guaranteed! Happy Hour is dropped, and who knows if it will be back! As for the ABC side of things, Six Degrees is gone! Kidnapped is available on Fridays on NBC.com. Yes, you need the internet to watch it! And that's the inside viewpoint!

Spike Late Night Changes

SpikeTV is getting back into the Late Night fun. Thursday and Friday nights, they're starting the Late Night Strip. New episodes of MXC lead the way on Fridays at 12 Midnight. The press release is that the shows will be a little edgier.

Kanye West: Crybaby of the Week

Kent Kennedy, here, and my job at PCR is to inform you of the wrongs that exist in the world of pop culture. Without further ado, let's go to my latest rant. So, if anyone with MTV2 capabilities caught the European EMA's on MTV2 last night, you saw it all! What are we talking about? Well, it's K2's Krybaby of the Week. (Yes, I misspelled that on purpose.) Your friend K2 is trying to capitalize on some extra kash, uh cash here! During the EMA's, Kanye West comes out on stage and ruins the moment when Justice vs. Simian won the video of the year. Kanye comes out crying and whining that the video awards are a shame because he didn't win. Ok, he didn't say that exactly, but he cried and whined about how he spent a million dollars on the video. In addition, he muttered about how Pamela Anderson was in it, and that he was jumping over canyons. The PCR staff watched the Justice vs. Simian video, and we think it's much better. Go ahead, and look at it! So what if you spent a million dollars. The fans voted on the video, and they went with the better video. You don't need a million dollars to make a video! So Kanye, grow up, go away, and get off your high horse. You are not a deity, a god, or any other political figure. You are meaningless. Touch this! And hey, PCR, hook up an email with your site! I know you have one! -Kent Kennedy.

Daily Dose: 10.26

Welcome to the dawn of a new era! This is the daily dose. It's your one stop entertainment portal. With the new ownership of PCR, we're hoping to bring you the latest info on all things tv, radio, and pop. Hey, that's what we're here for! So let's kick it into high gear, and here's today's daily dose!

This is Thursday. This is the Daily Dose. So you're probably looking for some of those tv changes. Yup, they're here. NBC is bringing back Scrubs and shifting 30 Rock to Thursday Nights from 9-10pm. This starts on November 30th. So Deal or No Deal leave the Thursday slot to run solo on Mondays. 1 vs. 100 has 10 more weeks to go. So that could mean a shifting of Las Vegas. Could Las Vegas replace Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip? We'll just have to wait and see on that one! As for 30 Rock, you should be watching this show. It is funny! PCR recommends you should watch it! Well, tape it. Alright, just tivo it! Don't want to tivo it? Well, watch it on NBC.com. According to the latest press release, NBC states that hitwise recorded almost seven million streams of their programming.

ABC has pulled the Extreme Makeover series again on Fridays for Grey's Anatomy. That's all.

Remember the PAX network? Well, the PAX network, which is the I Network, just signed a deal with the Hallmark folks. Well, make that RHI Entertainment. Starting July 1, 2007, RHI is going to program the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Night Primetime schedules that exist from 7pm-11pm. No more Mama's Family reruns on the weekend!
